A local variety found in Oldbury and Halmore.
Malus domestica ‘Molly Kernal’
Small to medium fruits, which are broadly ribbed, five crowned and often a bit lop-sided.
The skin is a light green or yellow and may have a dullish red flush. It may have some russetting often seen as fine rings or ‘netting’ around the crown Skin texture may be slightly greasy on non-russetted parts.
